Logic is used to develop a path of reasoning, in order to acquire valid knowledge. Tibetan logic is transformational, in that it is intended to bring new and valid knowledge that changes one’s relationship with the world and brings one closer to the truth and to enlightenment—closer to the truth, in that one’s understanding of the world is more accurate and one’s relationships with people are based on true understanding of the nature of reality rather than on illusion and ignorance.
